Day 1 - 3: Touchdown in Africa!

Your African safari and beach honeymoon begins from the moment you set foot on African soil! Arriving at Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport in Livingstone, Zambia, you will be met by one of our friendly representatives who will transfer you for 23-minutes to African Bush Camps Thorntree River Lodge, found along the banks of the Zambezi River in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Start your luxury honeymoon in style with 3-nights, exploring the wildlife on a romantic sunset river cruise in the Zambezi River, visiting the Victoria Falls in all its splendor and embarking on a walking safari to encounter the white rhino. Your included activities will be:

• Found in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, the Victoria Falls is one of the Natural Wonders of the World, and after the rain, you can experience the Victoria Falls in all its glory. There are many ways to encounter the greatness of the Victoria Falls, including a walk along the rainforest boardwalk to enjoy a closer view of this splendid cataract or take a helicopter flight and see the Falls from a different dimension.
• Sunset river cruises from Thorntree River Lodge is an encapsulating experience, cruising down the Zambezi River at sunset is an incredibly romantic experience with sightings of African wildlife.
• Fishing expeditions can be arranged as you spend the day on the water appreciating nature whilst awaiting your catch of the day, fishing for tiger, bream or vundu.
• For those who enjoy archaeology, history, ethnography and art, a visit to Livingstone Museum can be arranged. 
• A guided short walking safari takes you on a Rhino Experience from Thorntree River Lodge is a wonderful opportunity to see the rare and endangered white rhino, who are under 24-hour protection by the rangers. 
• Guided Canoeing safaris are a relaxing way to experience paddling through the water and watching the elephants trekking through the river.

2-Nights at African Bush Camps Thorntree River Lodge, Zambia

Found in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, Thorntree River Lodge is very close to the Victoria Falls and boasts 12 twin rooms with sets of interleading units. Each unit comes complete with indoor and outdoor bathrooms and luxury private plunge pools. There is a main lounge with an open dining area, a gym, Spa and small library with wifi for your convenience. A communal deck is found on the edge of the riverside with a sunken boma area and an infinity pool. Your 2-night stay includes accommodation, all meals, tea, coffee, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages except premium spirits and champagne, walking safaris, sunset cruises, bird watching, fishing, Victoria Falls visit, Rhino experience and canoeing safaris.

Day 3 - 6: Hwange National Park Safari, Zimbabwe

Early morning after breakfast and check out from Thorntree River Lodge, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls International Airport for your scheduled light aircraft flight to African Bush Camps Somalisa Camp in Zimbabwe. Here you will spend 3-nights in Hwange National Park on a safari. Capture photographic safari moments of large elephant herds, big cats, wild dogs and other exciting wildlife. Hwange National Park is the biggest national park in Zimbabwe. Spend your days on Safari Game drives and Walking safaris, encountering large herds of elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, giraffe, antelopes, wild dog, etc. Your included activities are:

• Game Drives are lead by an experienced ranger/guide in an open 4x4 vehicle, with sightings of magnificent wildlife such as elephant, buffalo, sable, roan, giraffe, wildebeest, impala, and gemsbok.
• Walking safaris are a great way to enjoy a closer experience with the animals as they are more approachable on foot than in a vehicle. All walking safaris must be guided by an armed ranger and can only be undertaken if the bush is not too thick. 
• Bird watching is a wonderful experience at Hwange National Park. Listen for the call of the racket=tailed roller or the kori bustard, and the Martial eagle presents itself for a picturesque photographic safari. 

3-Nights at African Bush Camps Somalisa Camp, Zimbabwe

Situated in the Hwange National Park, African Bush Camps Somalisa Camp is a place of tranquility and adventure. Listen for the baritone roar of a lion coalition off on the hunt, and watch the elephants on your doorstep, peacefully sharing a sundowner with you. The highlight of the camp is the elephant pool, which is found at the edge of the expansive deck in the main area and is frequented by families of elephants. There are seven luxury tents with gauze sliding doors, a glass wood-burner for cold nights, and a fan for hot nights. Each luxury tent is equipped with an en suite bathroom, flush toilets, an indoor and outdoor shower, and a copper slipper-style bathtub. Your 3-night stay includes accommodation, all meals, tea, coffee, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages except premium spirits and champagne, walking safaris, sunset cruises, bird watching, fishing, Victoria Falls visit, Rhino experience, and canoeing safaris. 

Day 6 - 7: Place of Gold, Johannesburg, South Africa

After spending a week in the bush on a luxury safari honeymoon you will check out from Somalisa Camp after breakfast and charter a scheduled flight to Victoria Falls International Airport for your onward flight to Johannesburg (Note: Flight from Victoria Falls Airport to OR Tambo Airport is not included). Upon your arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, one of our friendly representatives will be waiting in the arrivals terminal to transfer you to The Peech Hotel in Melrose, Johannesburg. Here you will spend 1-night in a luxury room, bed & breakfast basis.

1-Night at The Peech Hotel, Melrose, Johannesburg, South Africa

The Peech Hotel is centrally located in Melrose, Johannesburg - City of Gold. Johannesburg is known as the business hub of South Africa and it is here that gold was discovered for the first time in South Africa. The Peech Hotel is an intimate boutique hotel with 32 luxury rooms, all with stylish interior and an understated "Afro-chic" influence. There are glass doors that open onto private patios or terraces and allow guests to enjoy their own privacy. Each room has well-appointed bathrooms and separate toilets and spacious showers (no bathtubs - water conservation for sustainable tourism). There is a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 7 - 12: Romantic Beach honeymoon - Quilalea, Mozambique

Check out after breakfast for your transfer from The Peech Hotel, Johannesburg to OR Tambo International Airport for your flight to Pemba Airport, Mozambique. (Note: Flights between OR Tambo Airport and Pemba Airport are not included.) Upon your arrival at Pemba Airport, charter a scenic helicopter flight to Azura Quilalea Private Island, where you will spend the next five romantic nights in a luxury private beach villa on a private island in northern Mozambique. Explore the tropical waters and white sands with watersports or simply relax and immerse yourself in views of palm trees and secluded blissful pieces of heaven. Your included activities are:

• Scuba diving (1 x house reef dive per person per stay (licensed divers). Quirimbas Archipelago offers some of the most incredible scuba diving in the world, with an abundance of fish and corals, as well as a range of depths and reef topography for every level of diving.
• Snorkeling (snorkeling equipment included). This is a paradise for snorkelers, with hard and soft corals and a variety of reef fish. See a variety of fish like Sweetlips, Angelfish, Triggerfish, Pufferfish. See also Moray Eels, Stingrays, Honeycomb Morays, Ribbon Eels, Loggerhead and Hawksbill turtles. Join our guided night snorkeling with underwater torches for unique snorkeling.
• Kayaking (kayak equipment included). Kayak on the ocean and around the island, through the mangroves of Sencar Island. 
• Fishing can be a wonderful experience, for a selection of reef fish such as marlin, sailfish, and tuna. There is a fully equipped fishing boat with a local guide and a range of tackle. Catch and release policy on protected species.
• Turtle Beach romantic picnic and Baobab nature walking trails can be enjoyed on one of the most beautiful beaches on the Quilalea Private Island. We will take a walk to explore the vegetation and flora and fauna. Then we will continue along the paths until we reach Turtle Beach, where we will host you on a romantic picnic (breakfast/lunch) and leave you to your privacy for a few hours to enjoy the sun, with shade cover, cushions and beanbags provided. 

5-Nights at Azura Quilalea Private Island, Quilalea Island, Mozambique

Azure Quilalea Private Island is located on the secluded island of Quilalea in northern Mozambique, in the pristine Quirimbas Archipelago. It is an absolute paradise for marine lovers and boasts world-class snorkeling. Watch as dolphins swim past your private deck and in season, you may see the humpback whales or turtles. and scuba diving straight off the main beach. There are 9 seafront private villas, with incredible views across the turquoise seas to Quirimba Island and beyond with dhows sailing by. Each villa includes an ensuite bathroom, separate toilet, private deck with daybed, Mozambican host service, and airconditioning. There is a restaurant that serves seafood as well as other options. Dinner is served at various locations such as beneath the towering baobab, picnic on the beach or candle-lit dinner under the stars on the beach. Your 5-night stay includes accommodation in a private villa, all meals, fees, activities, local spirits, local wine and local beers (premium ranges of alcohol are at additional cost).

Day 12: Farewell!

As our safari and beach honeymoon in Africa comes to an end after breakfast and check out, you will charter a scenic helicopter flight back to Pemba Airport for your onward journey. We bid you a fond farewell.
