Day 1: Best Tanzania safari tours Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, proceed directly to Coastal aviation, where you will charter a light-aircraft flight to Tarangire national park. The flight duration is approximately 20-minutes. (Note: 15kg luggage limit per person; soft bags required for all flights on this itinerary) Arriving at the airstrip in Tarangire, you will be welcomed by one of our friendly representatives and transferred to Little Oliver's Camp via a game drive for an introduction to the park. Upon your arrival at the camp, check-in, relax and enjoy some lunch before departing on your first exciting safari game drive. Look out for herds of elephants as well as other wildlife and birdlife. 2-Nights at Little Oliver's Camp, Tarangire National Park Little Oliver's Camp is set in the heart of the Tarangire National Park, and occupies a prime position near the Silale Swamp, a wildlife magnet all year round. There are only five guest tents, making for an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Guest tents are equipped with en suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers as well as an outside deck overlooking the floodplain below.  Each tent has an open-sided lounge with a thatch roof for relaxing afternoons between activities. Look out for herds of elephants passing nearby. Expert rangers provide insight and will show you the best of Tarangire National Park on game drives, walking safaris and night drives. Day 2: Safari Game Drives, Bush walks and night drives Prepare for and early morning as you set off on a guided bushwalk safari, looking for signs of wildlife, from bird calls to tracks in the earth. Bushwalks allow you to approach smaller creatures such as warthogs, small antelopes and birdlife. These creatures are skittish when approached on foot rather than vehicles. For lunch, you will return to the camp and an afternoon to relax. After tea time, you will head out on a late afternoon game drive including a stop for sundowners in a scenic location.  Your afternoon game drive continues into a night game drive, with sights of nocturnal creatures and predators like lions on the prowl. After your game drive you will return to the camp for dinner and a good night's rest.  Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Soon after breakfast and check out, you will receive a transfer to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Manyara Airstrip, with views of Lake Manyara beneath. Upon your arrival, one of our friendly representatives will transfer you to The Highlands Camp set on the rim of Olmoti Crater. Your transfer includes a drive through coffee plantations and a stop along the way at the viewpoint to marvel at the landscape and wildlife. A packed lunch is included. The journey between the airstrip and your cap accommodation is approximately 3-hours. You are welcome to take the option of a guided walk from the camp up to the rim of the Olmoti Crater, passing through dense forest and waterfalls on the way. 2-Nights at The Highlands Camp, Ngorongoro Crater Found on the edge of the Olmoti Crater, The Highlands offers spectacular bushwalks, original Maasai community encounters and Big 5 safari game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater. There are eight guest tents offering modern architecture and interior.  Each dome-shaped guest tent is equipped with en suite bathroom, woo-burning stove, sheepskin rugs and a balcony. Breakfast can be enjoyed beside the central fireplace or take the option of something stronger in the Olmoti Bar. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Big Five Safari Depart early morning after breakfast for the Ngorongoro Crater, a drive of approximately 1-hour until you reach the descent road. You will enjoy a morning safari game drive on the crater floor looking out for varied wildlife in the conservation area. Stop for a picnic lunch in a shady location before making your way back to The Highlands to relax in the afternoon.  Late afternoon, your guide will escort you to the nearby Maasai village for and encounter with the Maasai community that lives there to learn more about their culture and partake in afternoon activities, including rounding up of cattle for the night boma. Day 5: Serengeti National Park This morning after breakfast and check out you will be transferred to Manyara Airstrip for your flight to the central Serengeti National Park. The traveling time for your road transfer will be approximately 3-hours and the light aircraft flight will be 45-minutes. Upon your arrival at the Serengeti airstrip, you will be welcomed by one of our friendly representatives to transfer you to Dunia Camp, stopping at wildlife sights along the way. Upon your arrival at Dunia Camp, check-in and relax a bit. Then, embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the Serengeti National Park. This is one of the best National Parks in Africa in terms of diversity and density of wildlife and is home to the Great Migration. After you game drive, return to your camp for drinks around the campfire and dinner. 3-Nights at Dunia Camp, Serengeti National Park Dunia Camp can be found in the center of the Serengeti near the Moru Kopjes, and boasts eight guest tents, fully equipped with a large balcony and en suite bathrooms with solar-heated showers.  Unwind on your private balcony between game drives and watch as the wildlife wanders past you. There is a central lounge and dining tent area raised on a deck, overlooking the grassy plains as well as a campfire for dinner. Day 6 - 7: Great Serengeti Migration Serengeti, the Great Migration destination is the greatest safari spectacle in Africa, and you get a front-row seat to this natural wonder that attracts thousands of travelers each year to Tanzania. Day 8: Zanzibar beach holiday Enjoy your final breakfast at the camp before check out from Dunia Camp and leaving the African safari adventures behind. You will be transferred to the airstrip for your late morning flight to Zanzibar Airport. The journey is approximately 3-hours, 30-minutes (15kg luggage limit per person; soft bags required for all flights on this itinerary.) The plain may stop at a few other camps to pick up or drop off passengers.  Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be welcomed by one of our representatives and transferred to Matemwe Lodge in the northeast of the island. Spend the rest of the afternoon unwinding in your lodge accommodation, snoozing in a hammock or swimming in either the ocean or one of the two pools at the lodge. 3-Nights at Matemwe Lodge, Zanzibar Island Located on a coral rock outcrop overlooking a sandy beach, Matemwe Lodge gently slopes into the Indian Ocean in Zanzibar. The corals surrounding the Mnemba Atoll offer superb diving and snorkeling opportunities. Enjoy fresh seafood, dazzling cocktails, and indulgent spa treatments.  Day 9 - 10: Beach holiday activities The next two days at Matemwe Lodge in Zanzibar are for relaxing and swimming in the warm Indian Ocean, taking a boat to the reef to snorkel or dive, kayaking along the shoreline looking for turtles, sailing in a dhow watching for dolphins or taking a picnic lunch to a remote sandbank. Other watersports on offer include stand up paddleboarding and kitesurfing (seasonal).  Day 11: Bon Voyage!
