Your 11-day African safari tour includes all-inclusive accommodation in some of the top luxury safari camps and lodges in Africa. Spend three nights at Linyanti Ebony, a luxury tented camp located in a private wilderness concession in Chobe Enclave Botswana, with spectacular views of the Linyanti Marshlands. Two nights will be spent at Thorntree River Lodge, a 5-star safari lodge found in Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia, which is only a short distance from the majestic Victoria Falls. On your three nights stay at Somalisa Acacia Camp in Hwange National Park, you will enjoy private views of large herds of buffalo, elephant, kudu, zebra, giraffe and lion. Your family safari to Africa culminates with 2 nights at Bumi Hill Safari Lodge, a 4-star luxury tented camp, which boasts one of Africa's finest wilderness locations overlooking the vast Lake Kariba.

Day 1 - 3: Linyanti Concession, Botswana

Upon your arrival at Maun Airport, you will charter a scheduled flight to African Bush Camps Linyanti Ebony, which is a luxury tented camp with a focus on families. Located in the Chobe Enclave in Botswana, large herds of elephants stroll nearby for closer encounters. There are various ways to explore the concession, including morning and afternoon game drives and walking safaris, or nature walks for children under the age of 16 years. The Linyanti wetlands can be explored in a mokoro when the water levels allow. Benefit from an incredible helicopter safari for 30-minutes, soaring over the wildlife and marshlands. 

Morning, afternoon and night game drives are conducted by experienced ranger/guides in open 4x4 vehicles at Linyanti, best known for large herds of elephant and buffalo. Be sure to experience the bush on a night game drive when nocturnal wildlife comes out of their courts to hunt their prey.
Walking safaris afford you the opportunity to explore the bush on foot alongside an experienced ranger/guide (16 years and above) who will share stories about the bush and its wildlife. For your safety, walking safaris are only allowed with an armed ranger/guide and if the bush is not too thick.
Mokoro safaris are a unique way to explore the marshlands if the water level allows. Formerly, the Mokoro canoe used to be made from indigenous trees, but today, due to nature conservation, the Mokoro canoe is made from fiberglass. Your river guide will drive the Mokoro whilst you sit back and scenic views of the marshlands and wildlife.
From April to November, a 30-minute scenic helicopter flight is included in your stay for a bird's eye view of the pristine wilderness and a picnic in the middle of the marshes.
3-Nights at African Bush Camps Linyanti Ebony, Botswana

Family-focused Linyanti Ebony is a charming luxury tented camp built on raised wooden decks overlooking the Linyanti River. There are 4 traditional Meru-styled tents, and the family tent consists of two interleading rooms which are perfect for families or groups looking for an original safari experience. Your 3-night stay includes accommodation, all meals, tea, coffee, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages except premium spirits and champagne, laundry, game drives, walking safaris, mokoro rides (water level dependent) and a 30-minute helicopter flight (April to November).

Day 4 - 5: Livingstone - Victoria Falls, Zambia

After breakfast and check out from African Bush Camps Linyanti Ebony, you will charter a scheduled flight to Kasane Airport. Upon your arrival at Kasane Airport, you will be welcomed by one of our friendly representatives who will transfer you to Thorntree River Lodge, where you will spend 2 nights. Located in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National park, a short distance from Victoria Falls on the Zambia side, you will find the family-friendly Thorntree River Lodge. From rhino trekking or an afternoon fishing expedition (catch & release) on the Zambezi River to a visit of the Victoria Falls or a sunset river cruise, Thorntree River Lodge has something for the whole family. 

There is no photo or video that prepares you for the splendor and magnitude of one of the Natural Winders of the World, the legendary Victoria Falls, also known as "The smoke that thunders". 
Set off on a sunset river cruise down the glorious Zambezi River in Zambia, offering you a wonderful African wildlife sightseeing opportunity in a romantic setting. 
Spend a relaxing day cruising on the river with spectacular views and throwing in a line fishing for tiger, bream or vundu. (Catch and release only.) 
At Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, the white rhino is under 24-hour protection by the rangers, as they are extremely rare and endangered. Join a short walking safari for an up-close encounter with these white rhinos at Thorntree River Lodge. 
2-Nights at African Bush Camps Thorntree River Lodge, Zambia

Thorntree River Lodge is a modern contemporary designed luxury safari tented camp for an authentic African experience. The lodge has 12 twin rooms, of which, 2 are interleading rooms perfect for families or groups. Complete with its own indoor and outdoor bathrooms, each room has a private plunge pool. The main lodge has a lounge with open dining area, a gym, Spa overlooking the Zambezi River and a small library with wifi. There is also a communal deck, sunken boma and infinity pool. Your 2-night stay includes accommodation, all meals, tea, coffee, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages except premium spirits and champagne, laundry, game drives, walking safaris, river cruise and fishing (catch & release), visit to Livingstone Museum, visit to Victoria Falls and Rhino Experience.

Day 6 - 8:  Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

After breakfast and check out at Thorntree River Lodge, you will receive a transfer to Livingstone Airport. Here you will charter a scheduled flight to African Bush Camps Somalisa Acacia Camp. Somalisa Acacia Camp is situated in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe, which offers tents focusing on families, with interconnecting walkways and connecting bedrooms, creating a homely ambiance. Here you will spend 3-nights, with family-friendly activities such as game drives, walking safaris, bird watching and cultural tours to local villages.

Game drives afford you the opportunity to see magnificent wildlife that are indigenous to the area. Your experienced guide will show you the best places for game viewing and share stories about the animals and their surroundings.
Discover everything the bush has to offer on a walking safari accompanied by our experienced, armed ranger/guide for one to two hours. A full day walking safari can be booked ahead of time. Children under 16 years will be accompanied by our child-certified walking guides.
There is a wide range of exotic birds at Somalisa, from the racket-tailed roller to the Martial eagle, you can delight in the beautiful sounds coming from these creatures and their songs.
There are cultural tours to the local villages who are supported by African Bush Camps through community upliftment and empowerment. This helps travelers gain a deeper understanding of Zimbabwe, allowing you to engage with the locals, adding value to your safari.
3-Nights at African Bush Camps Somalisa Acacia Camp

Somalisa Acacia Camp has 2 Family units with inter-leading walkways between parents and children's rooms. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms and each tent includes gauze sliding doors, a fireplace, a fan, indoor and outdoor showers and a bathtub. The luxury tents are on slightly raised decks with a private water hole for herds of game passing by like buffalo, elephant, kudu, zebra, giraffe and lion. There is a splash pool for cooling off or enjoying sundowners in. Your 3-night stay includes accommodation, all meals, tea, coffee, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages except premium spirits and champagne, laundry, game drives, walking safaris, bird watching and cultural tours to local villages.

Day 9 - 10: Lake Kariba, Zimbabwe

After breakfast and check out from Somalisa Acacia Camp, you will charter a scheduled flight to African Bush camps Bumi Hills Safari Lodge. Located on a range of remote hills, Bumi Hills Safari Lodge has incredible panoramic views of the inland sea of Lake Kariba. Here you will spend the final leg of your African Safari tours. The lodge has a number of ways to explore Lake Kariba, including fishing, game drives and Ngwana Club activities for children. Boasting one of African's finest wilderness locations, you will spend 2 nights here.

Game drives are conducted by experienced ranger/guides who will ensure that you see the magnificent wildlife indigenous to the area. 
For keen birdwatchers, delight in the sights and sounds of the giant kingfisher or take a photographic safari opportunity snapping the majestic Squacco heron or the Collared pratincole. 
Bordering the northwest by the Chalala and Mola communities, home of the Tonga people, meet the locals who have been living along the Zambezi river for ages. Learn about their culture and unique way of life.

2-Nights at African Bush Camps Bumi Hills Safari Lodge

Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is located near the North-Eastern border of the Matusdona National Park and has a total of ten rooms. Each room comes with ensuite bathrooms, balconies and fabulous views of Lake Kariba. There is an infinity pool and dining terraces. Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is located on an extensive wildlife conservation area, with sights of lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo, as well as an abundance of other animals. 

Day 11: Farewell!

After breakfast and check out it is time to bid the African safari bush a fond farewell until you we meet again. Charter a scheduled flight to Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare for your onward journey.

Cancellation within 4 – 2 weeks prior to date of travel will incur a 75% fee of the total cost of the reservation. 
Cancellation within 2 weeks prior to date of travel or less, as well as no shows, will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the reservation to cover handling fees, liquidated damages and other associated costs.
