Day 1: Welcome to Africa!

Welcome to Africa! Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed by one of our friendly representatives who will transfer you to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Samburu National Reserve. The flight duration will be 1-hour and upon your arrival at Samburu, one of our representatives will welcome you and transfer you to Saruni Samburu Lodge via a game drive. Here you will check-in at your luxury villa and enjoy a picnic lunch before your afternoon game drive with sundowners in Kalama Conservancy, which borders Samburu National Reserve, and covers 200 000 acres of pristine wilderness. Upon your return from the game drive, enjoy your Italian-inspired dinner dish thereafter head off to your villa for an overnight. 

Your 3-night stay at Saruni Samburu includes a luxury villa, three daily meals/bush meals, soft drinks, beers, house wines and select non-luxury spirits, one complimentary 30 minutes' Back and Neck massage, shared day and night game drives in 4x4 vehicles, guided bush walks, sundowner, picnic,  photographic hide and bird watching.

3-Nights at Saruni Samburu, Kalama Conservancy, Samburu, Kenya

Located in the Kalama Conservancy which borders Samburu National Reserve in Kenya, Saruni Samburu is a deluxe designed lodge with spectacular views over the Northern Frontier District and Mount Kenya. There are six spacious luxury villas which consist of two single-room villas for singles/couples/honeymoons and four two-bedroom villas perfect for families. Single bedroom villas have ensuite bathrooms, dressing rooms, lounge, dining area, and outdoor verandah. Two-bedroom Villas have ensuite bathrooms, dressing rooms, lounge, dining area, outdoor veranda. The lodge has a photographic hide, 2 x swimming pools, Wellness Spa, Curio Shop, Yoga and exercises.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve Safari Activities

Enjoy a morning breakfast and soon after depart on a morning game drive into Samburu National Reserve. Explore the wildlife on offer such as the 'Samburu Special Five' which consists of the reticulated giraffe, Grevy zebra, beisa oryx, Somali Ostrich and the gerenuk all rare species found specifically in Samburu. Get to see elephants, lion and leopards as well. Enjoy a picnic lunch out before you return to the lodge. Upon return at the lodge, enjoy afternoon at leisure and complimentary 30 minute Back and Neck massage at the Wellness Spa. Enjoy dinner in the evening and overnight. 

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve Safari Activities

Today you will be doing more exploring in the Samburu National Reserve after breakfast. Enjoy lunch and later enjoy a natures walk with your experienced Samburu guides, discovering plants, animals and cave that have rock paintings dating back. Later, you will enjoy an evening game drive in the Kalama Conservancy that is 20,000 acres with a bush dinner. Thereafter, depart on a night drive back to the lodge and overnight. 

Day 4: Mara North Conservancy/Masa Mara National Reserve, Kenya

Enjoy breakfast and prepare for check-out. Transfer flight of 1 hour 30 minutes' to Masai Mara departing at time TBC. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive and picnic lunch under an acacia tree or by the river. After lunch, check-in at Saruni Mara or Saruni Wild and enjoy an exclusive evening game drive in the Mara North Conservancy which is 30,000 acres. Return for dinner and overnight.

3-Nights at Saruni Mara or Saruni Wild, Mara North Conservancy, Kenya

Located in the Mara North Conservancy, which shares a border with the Masai Mara National Reserve, Saruni Mara consists of one family villa, one private villa and five cottages and is the only boutique lodge in the Mara. The Mara North Conservancy stretches over 74 000 acres. The 5 classic cottages each have ensuite bathrooms and private verandas. The 1 Family Villa has 1 double room and 1 twin room, both with ensuite bathrooms, fire-place, dining area, lounge and private veranda.

Located in the heart of the Masai Mara Plains, bordering the Lemek Conservancy and the Mara North Conservancy, Saruni Wild is a luxury tented camp offering seclusion and authenticity. Indulge in the unforgettable experience of sleeping under canvas in the midst of the wilderness. There are two double tents and one family tent, both with ensuite bathrooms, hot showers and flushing toilets, private verandas with beautiful views.

Both the lodge and the camp offers great sights of the Wildebeest Migration during migration season in Masai Mara (from Mid August to Early September each year).

Day 5: Mara North Conservancy/Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

Enjoy a morning game drive and try to spot your big cats and other predators in the Mara. Return for breakfast and later enjoy lunch and mid-afternoon at leisure. Late afternoon, depart on a game drive to where the largest tower of giraffe can be seen. Return for dinner at the lodge and join an optional night game drive or overnight. 

Day 6: Mara North Conservancy/Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and game drive to the highest mountain of Serengeti-Masai Mara called the Kilileoni. Return for lunch and enjoy early afternoon at leisure. Depart on an afternoon drive exploring the Mara North. Return for a bush dinner (weather dependant) with Masaai warriors singing and. dancing around the fire. Overnight. 

Day 7: Farewell!

Enjoy breakfast and prepare for check-out. Whilst on the way to the airstrip of Mara, stop for a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary and admire the crocodiles and hippos on the Mara river. Transfer flight to Nairobi departing Mara at 11:00am and arriving at 12:20pm. Upon arrival at the Wilson Airport, a road transfer will be done to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
