Day 1: Welcome to Kenya!

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed by one of our friendly representatives who will transfer you to the Hemingways Hotel in Nairobi. Upon your arrival at the hotel, you will check-in and spend the rest of the afternoon at your own leisure. In the evening, enjoy dinner in the dining room.

1-Night at Hemingways Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya

Hemingways Hotel is located between the Nairobi National Park and Ngong Hills and is an exclusive boutique hotel consisting of 45 suites. Each suite comes complete with a walk-in wardrobe, double vanity, separate toilet, bath and shower, and a separate entrance. Each suite comes with personal butler service. There is a gourmet restaurant, brasserie, and bar, as well as a swimming pool and Spa.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park safari!

Shortly after breakfast and check-out from Hemingways Hotel, you will receive a transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled light aircraft flight to Amboseli National Park. Arriving at the airstrip in Amboseli, you will be transferred to your accommodation at Elewana Tortilis Camp, where you will check-in and enjoy lunch before your afternoon shared safari game drive. Amboseli and Tortilis Camp boasts unrivaled views of Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as herds of elephant that are some of the biggest sized elephants in Africa. After your exciting first safari game drive, you will return to the camp to freshen up before dinner.

Amboseli National Park is home to more than 1000 elephants, over 600 bird species and many more wildlife such as buffalo, impala, hyena, giraffe, zebra, gazelle, wildebeest, lion and cheetah. Amboseli is a photographer's dream, with plenty of photographic opportunities.

2-Nights at Elewana Tortilis Camp, Amboseli National Park

Elewana Tortilis Camp is situated in a private conservancy bordering the Amboseli National Park and has a prime location overlooking the glorious Mount Kilimanjaro. There are 16 tents all with ensuite bathrooms, as well as 1 Private House and 1 Family Tent, each with 2 bedrooms, a lounge and a dining area. There is a swimming pool, Spa, lounge, bar and dining area. 

Day 3: Amboseli National Park safari

Early morning wake up call to your accommodation as we set off on a bush breakfast and a shared safari game drive. This is the best time to see the animals as they come out of their corners and go about their morning activities. After the game drive we will enjoy lunch at the camp. After lunch in the late afternoon, we embark on a guided walking safari with an experienced ranger who will be armed for your peace of mind. Sundowners will be enjoyed in the bush as we marvel at the African sunset. Returning to the lodge we will enjoy a beautiful dinner at the camp.

Day 4: Meru National Park safari!

Another exciting day of safari awaits us as we arise early for our last shared game drive in Amboseli National Park. Returning from our game drive, we enjoy a hearty breakfast and depart to Amboseli airstrip for our scheduled flight to Meru National Park. Upon your arrival at Meru airstrip, one of our friendly representatives will welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation at Elsa's Kopje Meru, where you will check-in and enjoy lunch. This will be followed by a wellness massage. Should you prefer, you may opt for the afternoon safari shared game drive instead of the massage. Thereafter, join us for dinner at the lodge.

Meru National Park is 350km from Nairobi and lies between Mount Kenya and Nyambeni Mountains, and forms part of a larger conservation area. Meru is the prime destination when it comes to rhinos, due to the rhino sanctuary incorporated in the park. Famed for large herds of elephant, lion and birdlife, as well as an abundance of other animals in Meru Park.

2-Nights at Elewana Elsa's Kopje Meru, Meru National Park, Kenya

Elewana Elsa's Kopje Meru is situated into the Mughwango Hill surrounded by panoramic views over the Meru plains and named after Elsa the lioness in the movie Born Free. Elsa's Kopje Meru consists of 6 spacious cottages, 3 honeymoon cottages, 1 family cottage and 1 private house. Each cottage has an ensuite bathroom; the honeymoon cottages have private decks and outside baths and a lounge; the family cottage has 2 ensuite bedrooms, a lounge and a private veranda; the private house has 1 double and 1 twin room, both ensuite, a lounge, dining room, veranda and private pool.

Day 5: Meru National Park Safari

Prepare for an early morning safari game drive and bush breakfast in the Meru National Park, where you will see Zebra, Gerenuk, Kudu, Somali Ostrich, Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard and cheetah as well as more than 450 different types of birds. After the game drive, lunch can be enjoyed at Elsa's Kopje with some time to relax. A late afternoon game drive will be on offer to seek out more of the wildlife abundant in the Meru National Park and sundowners in the bush. Thereafter we return to the lodge to freshen up before dinner. 

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve migration safari!

In the morning after breakfast, you will embark on an informative guided Nature Walk alongside an armed guide/ranger. This presents an amazing opportunity to approach smaller animals on foot rather than in a vehicle. Please remain close to your ranger and adhere to instructions. Lunch can be enjoyed at Elsa's Kopje, before departing the lodge for the airstrip, where you will charter a light aircraft flight to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve for the ultimate great migration safari in Kenya. Upon your arrival in the Masai Mara, great anticipation builds up as you receive a transfer from the airstrip to your safari camp via a safari game drive for your first glimpse of what is to come in the Masai Mara safari park. Upon your arrival at the camp, check-in, relax and freshen up before dinner.

The Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the best safari parks in Kenya and is also one of the best safari destinations in Africa, famous not only for its astounding number of wildlife but also for one of the greatest natural spectacles in the world, which is the Great Migration of two million-strong wildebeest, zebra and gazelle crossing between the Masai Mara and the Serengeti annually. Each year, visitors from across the globe travel to East Africa to witness the great migration which dates from July to October each year in Kenya and Tanzania and has been classified among the "Seven Wonders of the World". However, even out of migration season, the Masai Mara is nothing short of spectacular due to its abundance of wildlife throughout the year, such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, giraffe, elephant and more than 450 bird species.

Elewana Sand River Masai Mara Camp is located along the banks of the splendid Sand River in the Masai Mara and consists of 15 ensuite tented rooms and 1 family tent with 2 ensuite bedrooms. The Sand River Camp is found on the migration route of the herds of wildlife trekking between the Serengeti and the Masai Mara, which can often be seen from your private veranda. There is a dining room, swimming pool and lounge.
