Day 1: Welcome to Africa!

Welcome to Africa! Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed by one of our friendly representatives who will transfer you to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. The flight duration will be 1-hour and upon your arrival at Masai Mara, you will depart on a game drive and enjoy a picnic lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to Saruni Mara Lodge or Saruni Wild Tented Camp for check-in and afternoon at leisure. Late afternoon, enjoy a game in the Lemek Conservancy and the Mara North Conservancy which is over 30,000 acres bordering Masai Mara National Reserve.  This part of the game drive is less explored with complete privacy. Weather dependant, enjoy a bush dinner in the middle of the wilderness with Maasai warriors singing and dancing around the fire. 

Your 3-night stay at either Saruni Mara or Saruni Wild includes an elegant cottage or family villa, three daily meals/bush meals, soft drinks, beers, house wines and select non-luxury spirits, 30-minute Back and Neck massage at the Wellbeing Space, shared day and night game drives in 4x4 vehicles, guided bush walks, picnic and bird watching.

3-Nights at Saruni Mara or Saruni Wild, Mara North Conservancy, Kenya

Located in the Mara North Conservancy, which shares a border with the Masai Mara National Reserve, Saruni Mara consists of one family villa, one private villa and five cottages and is the only boutique lodge in the Mara. The Mara North Conservancy stretches over 74 000 acres. The 5 classic cottages each have ensuite bathrooms and private verandas. The 1 Family Villa has 1 double room and 1 twin room, both with ensuite bathrooms, fire-place, dining area, lounge and private veranda.

Located in the heart of the Masai Mara Plains, bordering the Lemek Conservancy and the Mara North Conservancy, Saruni Wild is a luxury tented camp offering seclusion and authenticity. Indulge in the unforgettable experience of sleeping under canvas in the midst of the wilderness. There are two double tents and one family tent, both with ensuite bathrooms, hot showers and flushing toilets, private verandas with beautiful views.

Both the lodge and the camp offers great sights of the Wildebeest Migration during migration season in Masai Mara (from Mid August to Early September each year).

Day 2: Mara North Conservancy/Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

Enjoy an early morning game drive and breakfast. On the game drive, you will be exploring the big cats and predators of the Masai Mara. Upon your return, enjoy lunch at the lodge or the camp and the massage treatments at the Wellbeing Space. In the afternoon, depart on a game drive that will take you to where the largest tower of giraffe can be seen and return to the lodge or camp for dinner. Later, depart on an optional night game drive 

Day 3: Mara North Conservancy/Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge or camp thereafter you will do a bush walk through the valleys and plains of Saruni Mara accompanied by a vehicle or enjoy a game drive to the top of Kilileoni which is the highest mountain in the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem led by your experienced Maasai guides. Return for lunch and following lunch, enjoy the afternoon to discover the Mara North and the surrounding conservancies. Return to the lodge or camp for a hearty dinner and overnight. 

Day 4: Farewell!

Today is your farewell at the lodge or camp. Enjoy the breakfast on offer thereafter prepare for check-out. On your way to the airstrip, stop for a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary and admire the hippos and crocodiles of the Mara River. 

Scheduled flight to Wilson Airport and upon arrival, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
