Do this because
You will enjoy sunset river cruises on the Chobe River with front row seats to elephants quenching their thirst. Early morning and late afternoon safari game drives are the best times to see the animals as they are at their most active, with herds of elephant families gathering around watering holes and prides of lions on the prowl seeking out their prey. Botswana is one of the best places to see the Big 5 in Africa, with an abundance of lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos and buffalos, as well as smaller animals like giraffes, cheetahs, wild dogs and antelopes. A safari game drive in Botswana is conducted in custom open 4x4 vehicles to allow you the best views of the animals. Be prepared for one of the best safaris in Southern Africa.

During your stay, you will discover the mysterious Savute (Savuti) Channel sits on the borders of Chobe National Park on the east side and Okavango Delta on the west side. One of the most fascinating attributes is the Savute Channel, which flows from Chobe River to Mababe Depression, and has been dry for the past 18 years. Predators like Lion and Hyena can be found here, as well as other animals.

We love the Mokoro ride, a canoe used to move around in the shallow waters of the Okavango Delta. It is ridden by an oarsman who stands on the front side of the canoe and pushes it with a pole. The mokoro was formerly dug out of tree trunks, but today, for conservation purposes, the mokoro is made from fiberglass.
