## Description

This tour combines Table Mountain with the Cape Peninsula in one day, in a minibus with no more than 12 people. You're collected from your hotel in central Cape Town.

 If the weather allows, the day starts with the cable car up Table Mountain for views over the city and coast. The tour then passes through Bo-Kaap and follows the Atlantic Seaboard to Hout Bay and Chapman's Peak Drive. On the False Bay side you visit Simon's Town and the African penguins at Boulders Beach, then the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, before returning past the bathing boxes at St James.

 The cableway often closes for wind or cloud, so the guide checks its status during the day and changes the order of stops if needed. You only buy the cable car ticket if it's running.

 Frequently asked

 Will we definitely go up Table Mountain?
No. The cableway runs only when the weather permits. If it's closed, the guide tries again later in the day. If it stays closed, you still do the full peninsula loop.

 Why isn't the cable car ticket included?
So you don't pay for a ticket you can't use. You buy it on the day, once the cableway is running.

 How long do we spend with the penguins?
About 60 minutes on the SANParks boardwalks. Rangers' rules apply: no feeding, touching, alcohol or smoking.

 Is Chapman's Peak always open?
No. It's a toll road that closes for wind or maintenance. When it's closed, the tour takes an inland road instead.
