## Description

A private full-day trip from Cape Town to Hermanus, one of the best places in the world to watch whales from land and sea.

Your guide collects you in Cape Town and drives along the coast to Hermanus. Southern right whales come into Walker Bay to calve between June and mid-December. You join a shared boat trip with Southern Right Charters to watch them, along with dolphins and seals, from close up. The boat trip fee is included.

On the way you stop at Stony Point near Betty's Bay to see the African penguin colony from the boardwalk. There's also time for wine tasting at two estates in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, known for its pinot noir. Tasting fees and lunch are at your own cost.

The tour runs in most weather, but the boat trip depends on sea conditions. If it's cancelled, you'll be offered another date or a refund.
