## Description

What to expect

 A full day down the Cape Peninsula with a guide/driver in a shared minibus. You drive the Atlantic seaboard with the mountains on one side and the sea on the other, cross Chapman's Peak, walk the boardwalk at Boulders Beach, take a photo at the Cape of Good Hope sign and walk up to the Cape Point lighthouse.

 Why this tour

 This tour was put together for South African residents. Park entrance fees and tolls are included, as is hotel pick-up and drop-off in Cape Town, and the group stays small.

 Itinerary

 Pick-up from your accommodation in Cape Town between 8:00 and 9:00 am in a shared minivan. We'll confirm the exact time the day before.
 A short drive through the city, then a stop in the Bo-Kaap for photos of the painted houses. Please stay close to your guide and keep your belongings with you.
 Along the Atlantic Seaboard through Clifton, Camps Bay, Llandudno and Hout Bay, with a photo stop at Maiden's Cove below the Twelve Apostles.
 Hout Bay Harbour. Choose a 45-minute boat trip to Duiker (Seal) Island, a walk around the market, or fish and chips at Mariner's Wharf or Fish on the Rocks.
 Chapman's Peak Drive, stopping at the viewpoint for photos.
 Boulders Beach, where a boardwalk takes you past the African penguin colony. Penguins often wander right up to the boardwalk.
 The Cape of Good Hope, with the Dias and Da Gama crosses and the stories behind them.
 Walk up to the Cape Point lighthouse, or take the Flying Dutchman funicular. The warm Agulhas Current and the cold Benguela Current mix off this stretch of coast, which is why the sea and weather change so quickly here.
 Back via the Old Cape Road, with views over False Bay and the painted beach huts at Muizenberg.
 Drop-off at your accommodation in Cape Town between 17:00 and 18:00.
