Welcome to Hemel en Aarde:
Literally translating, Hemel en Aarde from Afrikaans to English, simply means heaven and earth for the fact that the hills are so high which closely embrace the valley all around, that they give the impression of touching the sky and you cannot see anything but heaven and earth. The Hemel en Aarde is home to some 15 World-renowned wineries specializing in crafting the pinot noir variety. These include but not limited to Hamilton Russel, Creations, and Newton Johson just to name a few. Hemel en Aarde is located in the Walker Bay area just behind the famous holiday resort of Hermanus known as the Mecca of Southern Right Whales which flock to the bay between June and early December.
